Frequently asked questions
What is Fakturcho?
A web app for issuing EU-compliant invoices, proformas, credit/debit notes, quotes and delivery notes, with structured e-invoicing built in — no installation required.
How much does it cost?
0.10 € per issued document; drafts, clients and catalogue items are free; credit tops up in packs of 5 €, 10 € and 25 €; subscriptions of 5, 10 and 25 € per month grant double the credit, which carries over; with a subscription, a document costs 0.05 €.
Is it free to start?
Yes, a new account gets 1 € credit (10 documents) with no card required.
Which countries are supported?
Any business established in the EU VAT area can issue documents. Structured e-invoicing in the national format is generated for Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain and Bulgaria, ready to upload to the national platform or send over Peppol.
How is VAT handled for a customer in another EU country?
Enter the customer's VAT ID; Fakturcho verifies it against VIES and, for a valid B2B customer abroad, applies the reverse charge and prints the required note on the document.
Can I issue invoices without VAT registration?
It depends on your country. Bulgaria, Germany (§ 19 UStG), France (franchise en base), Italy (regime forfettario), Poland (art. 113) and Romania (art. 310) all have a small-business VAT exemption, and Fakturcho prints the correct legal ground automatically. Spain has no general small-business exemption — a non-VAT-registered Spanish issuer selects the specific exempt activity under art. 20 of the VAT law for each document.
What is the difference between a proforma and an invoice?
A proforma looks like an invoice and states the same details, but it creates no tax obligation and is not assigned a document number — it's commonly used to request payment in advance or for a customs declaration. An invoice is the official tax document, with a number and a tax event.
How is an issued invoice corrected?
Issued documents are immutable; corrections are made with a credit or debit note against the original.
How do I get the PDF and the e-invoice XML?
Both are generated server-side; download them, email them to the customer, or upload the e-invoice yourself to your national platform or send it over Peppol.
